A Table Remembered
Every now and then, a story reaches us that reminds us what dining is truly about. It’s not just the pasta, the wine, or the warm glow of the fire — it’s the moments people choose to share here.
A few weeks ago, one of our guests reached out to tell us why he reserved Amarone for a "celebration of life" gathering. His aunt, who had lived with dementia for years, couldn’t remember names anymore — not even those of her closest family members. But she still remembered Amarone.
We were deeply moved — and humbled — to know that the rhythm of our dining room, the flavors from our kitchen, and the warmth of our staff had become part of her lasting memory.
“She couldn’t remember names anymore — but she remembered Amarone.”
We also think back to another story, told with laughter: a guest who joked that our eggplant parmigiana started her labor within forty-eight hours. “Could be coincidence,” she said, “but either way, it tasted so good.”
