NAES — A Powerhouse with Roots in Issaquah
As a restaurant that cares deeply about our community, we love highlighting local organizations that shape both our region and the wider world. NAES is one of those rare companies that does both — contributing to Issaquah’s economy while helping power tens of millions of homes across the nation.
NAES — the leading provider of operations and maintenance services for power plants - is headquartered right here in Issaquah.
NAES handles complex facilities across the country — from wind and solar to gas-fired generation — and their work ensures that communities have the power they need, delivered safely and efficiently. Yet despite their global reach, the company remains deeply connected to Issaquah. Their presence reflects something our valley has always embodied: a combination of hard work, innovation, and a willingness to take on challenges that matter.
NAES is special to me, I once worked for a developer of renewable energy projects. During that time, we were evaluating partners to operate and maintain two new facilities. NAES rose to the top of the list. Their reputation for technical excellence, reliability, and safety made them the benchmark for O&M performance.
It was a point of pride to realize that the company we were considering for major renewable energy assets was based just a few miles from where Amarone now stands.
We’re proud to have them as neighbors, and even prouder that their story is part of Issaquah’s story.
